CraftRift was built by a gamer in Southeast Asia who was tired of laggy servers and overpriced hosting. Every server hosted in the US or Europe meant 200ms+ ping for anyone in SEA. That's not gaming. That's a slideshow.
The Origin Story
It started with frustration. Every Minecraft hosting provider was either too expensive, too laggy for SEA, or both. The affordable ones crammed 20+ servers on a single box, and you could feel it. Block lag, entity rubberbanding, chunks loading like it's 2012.
The "premium" hosts charged $15-20/month for a Singapore server with 2GB RAM. For a Minecraft server. That's more than some people's daily wage in parts of Southeast Asia.
So we built CraftRift. Dedicated resources. Low-ping SEA nodes. Starting at $3/month. No overselling. A strictly limited capacity pool. That's it.
Our Mission
We believe every SEA gamer deserves low-ping servers at fair prices. Not "low ping if you're in North America." Low ping if you're in Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, or Kuala Lumpur.
Why CraftRift is Different
Dedicated Resources
Your CPU cores and RAM are yours alone. We never oversell or share resources between customers. When another server on the node is busy, yours stays smooth.
Limited Slots
Every node is capped at a small, fixed number of servers. When a node fills up, we spin up a new one instead of cramming more onto existing hardware. That is why capacity is limited.
Low-Ping SEA Nodes
Every server runs on low-ping SEA nodes for fast ping across all of Southeast Asia. No routing through US or Europe. Your packets stay in the region.
Community First
We are gamers serving gamers. Our Discord community (The Rift) is where we hang out, take feedback, and help each other build better servers.

We believe in transparency. Our roadmap, incident reports, and decisions are all shared with the community first.
What We Stand For
No Overselling
If we sell you a dedicated core, it is a dedicated core. Not a "virtual" core shared with 15 other customers.
Fair Pricing
We price for SEA wallets, not Silicon Valley wallets. $3-5/month is our range. If you need more resources, we will add bigger plans, not gouge you.
Honest Communication
If something breaks, we tell you. If we have downtime, we post a public incident report. No hiding behind corporate PR speak.
Player Experience First
Every decision we make is filtered through one question: "Will this make the gaming experience better?" If not, we skip it.
